"This was not in it’s normally good condition. The fairways were not up to standard. Many of the greens had funny holes in them. The bunkers were ok. Shame as it’s normally a lovely course which is not easy to score well on particularly if it’s windy which it often is. A longish course but is walkable. Downhill par 3 4th hole is a favourite. Knowledge of the many sloping fairways is important. Nice layout in pleasant surroundings but no dramatic views compared to others. Staff friendly and a lovely clubhouse and restaurant and other facilities." - Spiggy

"I have been playing here on trips for 20 years and it has always been my favourite course for quality and value for money. The staff are fantastic but the condition of the new course was not good. Although the greens looked poor they rolled well but the course was untidy and needs some TLC. It’s like the club only concentrate on the Old Course and appear to be letting the New Course deteriorate which is disappointing." - Andy

"An old run Down Course that has not been proberbly taken Care of for several years. It is a discrace, will nevet ever recommend it to anyone. It is a shame because the Course layout and view is spetacular (except for 5-6 blind drives) But they have not given the Course the prober attention for a Long time…the rest of the facilitere are in exceptional condition, driving range, clubhouse and proberbly the Old Course. Buggy recomended. Fairway not good, Greens terrible, bunkers Unplayable (because of heavy rain the last days)"
