"No clubhouse house facilities as hotel was closed, fairways were barren in places with poor grass and weeds. Bunkers were full of stones and sand was crusty and in raked. The lady in the shop, Suzanne, was there excellent though."

"Excellent 17th up the hill to elevated green with 2 levels.Plenty of water features and variety of holes. Slow play because of sheer volume of players on course. Every tee time booked with a 4 ball, 8 minutes apart. So 4 and half hours minimum. Very poor parking on the street. " - DJ AND HAMMY

"Relatively flat course but well laid out, each hole presenting a different test. Suitable for all handicaps. . 2nd hole of particular interest and all the par 3s were testing. "The course looked tired with bald patches on the fairways. The bunkers were awful. The sand, if thats what it was, was full of stones (damaging the base of my sandwedge) and very compact. Not allowing the club to get under the ball. We later saw the course staff raking the bunkers by driving the buggy through with a rake tied at rear. This made the bunker look nice but was not good practice." - golf lover
